Principal- Amy Keller
A product of Ascension Parish, Keller is a 1996 graduate of St. Amant High School. She earned her undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and completed a master’s degree in educational leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University.
Keller brings over two decades of experience in education, with most of it within Ascension Parish. She has served as a classroom teacher and mentor teacher at Sorrento Primary, and she was a master teacher at both Lowery Elementary and Sorrento Primary. Most recently, she served as Assistant Principal of St. Amant Primary, where she will now lead as Principal.
“I am incredibly grateful for this opportunity and so excited to step into the role of Principal at St. Amant Primary, a school where my career began over 20 years ago. It is truly a full-circle moment. I am honored to lead such a phenomenal faculty and to continue growing with this vibrant, tradition-rich community,” said Keller.
Keller is married to Treg Keller, Ascension’s Supervisor of Information Systems and Technology. They have three children: Gabriel, Zachary, and Emerson.
Assistant Principal- Randi Elisar
A graduate of St. Amant High School, Elisar returns to serve her community in a leadership role after years of dedicated service in the classroom. She has taught 2nd-grade math, ELA, and social living, as well as 4th-grade ELA and social studies at Oak Grove Primary and St. Amant Primary. Most recently, she served as an instructional coach at St. Amant Primary. Elisar holds both a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Southeastern Louisiana University.
“Thank you all for this incredible opportunity to serve our amazing district. It has truly been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. I have been fortunate to learn from inspiring leaders who have helped shape me into the educator I am today. I am deeply committed to this parish and cannot wait to begin this new chapter at St. Amant Primary,” said Elisar.
She is married to her husband, Kirk Elisar. Together, they have two daughters, Millie Rose and Ruthie Kate.
